PROPERTY REGISTRATION

Registration  means that the legal documents you presented have been verified and its contents recorded. Copies of it are kept at the sub-registrar's office. Sub-Registrar's Office handles all property registration and they keep records of previously registered properties.

Some of the documents required for registration of property :

Copy of documents that need to be registered :

  • ID proof for both parties 
  • PAN Card of the seller for a property that is worth more than 5 Lacs
  • Payment of registration feeSub division fee
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC), if the property is being sold for the first time
  • Two passport size photographs
  • An NOC for government properties
